As the business continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Advisor, Client Services to join our team. This role is centered on delivering exceptional client service, supporting advisors, coordinating operations and ensuring an outstanding client experience.
Role Overview
The Associate Advisor, Client Services provides administrative, operational, and client-facing support to a Licensed Advisor. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of structured administrative work, client interaction, and identifying growth opportunities within an existing book of business.
The successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable working across multiple systems, and confident supporting both insurance and investment-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Track, input, and reconcile commissions, including:
- ◦ Commission tracking and statement collection
- ◦ Collaboration with payroll support to ensure accurate payouts
- Manage individual portal logins and ongoing monitoring for various insurance and investment online platforms
- ◦ Monitor portal notifications, notices, and marketing communications
- Maintain accurate client records, including:
- ◦ Beneficiary changes, address updates, and banking changes
- ◦ Policy renewals and payment reminders
- Support licensing and compliance requirements, including licensing/insurance renewals and continuing education
- Coordinate with IT support
- Monitor and manage shared inboxes
Client Service & Relationship Support
- Act as a key point of contact for clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Support client meetings (in-person, virtual, and phone-based)
- Prepare illustrations, quotes, comparisons, and policy reviews
- Coordinate annual renewal reminders and invoicing for term and annual policies
- Assist with client onboarding and ongoing servicing
Sales, Marketing & Growth Support
- Support sales and prospecting activities
- Identify opportunities within the existing client base, including insurance renewals and the introduction of investment solutions
- Assist with client touchpoints, including regular newsletters, promotions, sales communications and social media
- Create and update marketing materials and presentations for various products and topics
Licensing
We welcome candidates at different stages of their licensing journey. You will qualify if you meet one of the following:
- Currently licensed — hold a valid life insurance license (LLQP), ideally with a minimum of one year of industry experience; or
- Previously licensed — held a license in the past and are looking to re-enter the industry. This is a great fit for someone with the drive and desire to build a career in insurance and investments as part of an established team, rather than going it alone; or
- Interested in become licensed — prepared to obtain a life insurance license within six months of hire, completed on your own time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post secondary diploma/degree in business, finance, commerce economics or a related discipline is preferred
- One year of client facing, administrative or customer service experience in financial services, insurance or a related field
- Experience in the insurance and investment space is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance products and investments, including private markets
- Familiarity with multiple portals and CRM or tracking systems
- Comfortable handling confidential financial and client information
