Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while transporting goods to designated locations.
Duties
- Operate and drive various types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles.
- Safely transport freight over designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and roll-off trucks.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Ensure the proper handling of freight, including refrigerated goods and hazardous materials when applicable.
- Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum C License
- Clean driving record
- Cantonese/Mandarin is an Asset
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class C Licence (required)
