Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Full-Time Sales Associate to join our convenience store team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, help maintain store cleanliness and organization, and support daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
Process purchases accurately using the cash register/POS system
Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the store, including counters, aisles, and checkout area
Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items
Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations
Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions responsibly
Follow store policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention practices
Support opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math and cash-handling ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as stocking and cleaning
