Duties include, but not limited to:
-Restraining dogs and cats for procedures and treatments
-Routine animal care (feeding, walking, cleaning, medicating, etc.) of both hospitalized and boarding patients
-Assisting both the Veterinarians, as well as the Registered Veterinary Technicians with various treatments and/or procedures
-General cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the clinic (examination rooms/treatment area/front reception/kennels) to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Front reception (answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, assisting clients, handling financial transactions, filing, opening/closing clinic)
Qualified candidates must be able to multitask, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and take initiative. Having a flexible schedule is preferred. Prior clinical and reception experience is highly preferred. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume. Candidates will only be contacted if selected for an interview
The shifts rotate on a schedule. Shifts include 9-2pm, 1-6pm, 9-6 pm and every other Saturday 9-2pm. You must be able to work shifts during the week as well as Saturdays.
Pay: From $17.95 per hour
