Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal operation. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Service Technician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients by ensuring their equipment functions reliably and efficiently. Additional training provided based on manufactures factory authorized service network.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment components
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Document service activities, repairs, and parts used accurately
- Collaborate with team members to complete service projects efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on machinery or equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s license is required for CANADA
- Prior experience in a service or maintenance role is a plus
- NS Fuel Gas license preferred.

Pay: $18.26-$32.50 per hour
