Overview
RSS Products Inc is a growing, fast-paced, exciting distribution company looking for a Warehouse Operator/ Shipper, Receiver. Some of our brands include SleepChest furniture and Cozzia massage chairs.Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm.
The right person will be reliable, hardworking and a team player with good communication skills. A good work ethic and problem-solving skills are imperative. Must be able to work efficiently alone with little supervision.
Key duties include:
- Picking and Packing orders
- Unload and organize stock
- Cross docking
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Identifying and organizing service parts
- Diagnosing, servicing and refurbishing return products
- Assisting office personnel with warehouse tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
- Experience related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts and clamp trucks
- Knowledge related to using hand tools and performing repairs or maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with order picking operations and load/unload procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisor
Forklift experience is required. Familiarity with clamps is an asset.
Knowledge or experience in using hand tools and performing repairs or maintenance is a key asset. Some of our brands include Cozzia Massage Chairs and SleepChest, so familiarity with similar products is also an asset.
