Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
- Assist in plating dishes and garnishing for visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the team during busy hours by providing timely and courteous service
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
