Varimetal Solutions Inc. is a growing custom metal fabrication company specializing in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum projects throughout the GTA.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Fabricator / Welder to join our team full-time.
Our work includes custom fabrication, welding, fitting, grinding, assembly, and occasional site installation. This is not a production welding position. Every project is different, and problem-solving is an important part of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and assembly of custom metal projects
- MIG welding of steel components
- Cutting, drilling, grinding, fitting, and finishing
- Reading and following shop drawings
- Assisting with installation and site work when required
- Maintaining a safe and organized work area
- Working independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
- Experience with common fabrication tools and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license is an asset
Additional assets:
- Installation experience
- Forklift experience
- CWB certification

Shop work is based in North York, with occasional site work throughout the GTA.
The right candidate will have opportunities to take on greater responsibilities and grow with the company as we continue to expand.
Full-time position with overtime opportunities.
Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and ability to work independently.
