We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our leadership team. This is much more than a traditional office management role—it's an opportunity to lead the operational heartbeat of our organization.
As the Office Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to our office administration and show home teams while overseeing the day-to-day operational functions that support our accounting, architectural, sales, and construction departments. You will champion process improvement, quality assurance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction while helping shape the future growth of our company.
Our corporate office is located in Country Hills, Calgary, with active show homes in Chestermere and Strathmore. This position requires regular travel between all three locations to support staff, maintain company standards, conduct audits, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

You have a natural ability to identify opportunities for improvement, hold teams accountable, and ensure every detail is executed with excellence.

Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the office while supporting the continued growth of the business
- Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to the Office Administration and Show Home teams
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture
- Develop team members through coaching, training, mentorship, and regular performance reviews
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee development
- Work closely with ownership to execute strategic initiatives and operational goals
- Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, accountability, and exceptional communication
Operational Excellence
You will be responsible for ensuring our business operates efficiently by:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the corporate office
- Developing and improving company processes, policies, and operational procedures
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and communication across departments
- Managing company resources, vendors, office facilities, and administrative systems
- Supporting multiple departments to ensure projects move efficiently and deadlines are achieved
- Managing company documentation and operational resources within Google Workspace
Show Home Leadership
You will oversee the daily operations and performance of our show home team by:
- Providing leadership, coaching, and support to all show home staff
- Managing schedules, staffing, training, and ongoing performance
- Regularly visiting our Chestermere and Strathmore show homes
- Conducting operational and presentation audits to ensure company standards are consistently met
- Supporting sales staff to ensure every client receives an exceptional experience
- Ensuring show homes reflect the professionalism and quality associated with the Sunview Custom Homes brand
Accounting & Architectural Support
Working closely with our internal teams, you will:
- Oversee the daily workflow of our accounting and architectural support functions
- Coordinate priorities between departments to ensure projects progress efficiently
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on schedule
- Support payroll coordination, invoicing, reporting, and other administrative functions
- Help maintain strong communication between accounting, architecture, sales, construction, and leadership
Customer Experience Leadership
At Sunview, exceptional customer service is everyone's responsibility.
You will:
- Lead customer satisfaction initiatives throughout the home building process
- Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the client experience
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Construction, Architecture, Accounting, and Warranty to resolve issues proactively
- Develop systems that create consistency, communication, and exceptional service
- Help ensure every homeowner receives the level of service that reflects the Sunview Custom Homes brand
Qualifications
Residential home building experience is required. Applicants without industry experience will not be considered.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working for a residential home builder
- Previous leadership experience as an Office Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Administrator, or similar role
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, and decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing and improving operational systems and processes
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Meet
- Experience with residential construction software, CRM systems, accounting software, or ERP platforms is considered an asset

Additional Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle required
- Ability to travel regularly between our Country Hills office and our show homes in Chestermere and Strathmore
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when business needs require
