Compensation: CAD 80,000–150,000 base + competitive equity
A venture-backed consumer health hardware company (Series A, founded 2019, ~25-person team) building a first-of-its-kind at-home biomarker monitoring platform that turns physiological signals into measurable, trackable data via a mobile app. The company ships a regulated physical product direct-to-consumer across Canada and the US and is scaling quickly.
Own everything between the company's suppliers and its customers' doorsteps — sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment — including the complexity of Canada-to-US cross-border shipping and customs. This is an individual contributor role today, with a clear pathway to build and lead the full operations function over time, reporting directly to the founder.
What you'll be doing
-
Own the end-to-end supply chain: vendor selection, qualification, audits, long-term relationship management, and backup sourcing for all critical components
-
Eliminate cross-border delays and customs friction in Canada-to-US shipping, managing carrier selection, 3PL relationships, and importer-of-record structures
-
Build and roll out inventory-tracking and procurement-planning systems that give leadership real-time visibility into inventory levels, landed costs, and order status
-
Drive COGS reduction through vendor negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements as order volume scales
-
Own the interface between supply chain and manufacturing on materials planning and production scheduling
-
Set performance standards and accountability for suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and carriers
-
3 to 7 years supply chain and fulfillment ownership (physical product)
