Oxytech Industries, a well-established and long-standing steel services provider specializing in high-definition plasma and laser cutting, forming, and machining, is currently hiring for a upcoming vacancy for a skilled Technical Quotation & Sales Representative. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of organization, strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a dedication to customer service. While the core focus of this role involves providing excellent service to our existing clientele, the ideal candidate will also utilize additional bandwidth to pursue new business opportunities with potential accounts.

Job Duties
- Manage the full customer service order cycle:
- Generate accurate quotes for cutting, forming, machining, and related services.
- Input customer quotes and orders into the ERP system.
- Send official order confirmations to clients.
- Track and update customers on the status of their orders.
- Follow up on submitted quotes and address any order-related questions or concerns.
- Build and maintain client relationships:
- Answer and route incoming phone calls appropriately.
- Develop strong rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Inform and educate customers regarding company offerings.
- Gather customer feedback on Oxytech’s products and services.
- Learn each customer’s business needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Execute CAD and technical quoting tasks:
- Perform 2D and 3D CAD activities.
- Review customer files to verify material grade, thickness, and bend allowances.
- Create CAD designs, including sheet metal layouts, from customer drawings.
- Accurately quote laser cutting, plasma cutting, forming, and machining operations.
- Assist with generating production floor work orders:
- Ensure proper CAD files and manufacturing drawings are available.
- Verify all job details are entirely correct before submitting the work order.
- Print and organize physical work orders for the production floor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Technical & CAD Skills
- CAD Proficiency: Proven experience with 2D CAD and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar program required).
- Sheet Metal Focus: Prior experience designing for sheet metal environments is highly preferred.
- Drawing Interpretation: Ability to easily decipher and interpret complex 2D and 3D mechanical drawings.
- Nesting Software: Previous experience with nesting optimization software is considered a strong asset.
Professional Experience
- Industry Background: Solid experience working within the steel industry, with a strong preference for steel plate processing environments.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with laser cutting, plasma cutting, press brake forming, and CNC machining processes.
- Technical Quoting: Demonstrated experience calculating accurate quotes for metal cutting, forming, machining, and related fabrication services.
- System Familiarity: Practical understanding and experience navigating ERP / MRP systems.

- Customer Service: A track record of success in a customer-facing or customer service-based role.
- Communication Style: Possess excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
