Starliner Transport (1981) Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. The perfect candidate will transport goods through British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon as well as the Western United States.
Qualifications:
- Valid class 1 drivers license
- Have an acceptable drivers abstract
- Experience with dry vans and reefer trailers
- Have a valid passport (those travelling in the United States)
- Must submit a drug and alcohol test as part of a DOT requirement (those travelling in the United States)
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing pre and post trip inspections
- Maintaining a professional attitude
- Accurate record keeping of logs and fuel stops
- Communicating with dispatch
- Performing emergency road side repairs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$32.34 per hour
Experience:
- Commercial Truck Driving: 1 year (preferred)
