Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a full-time day-shift opportunity in Brantford, Ontario.
This position offers a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule, no rotating shifts and an early afternoon finish. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and move materials, stage pallets and support warehouse inventory using a tablet.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm
What You'll Do:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse and plant environment
- Load and unload pallets from containers and transport vehicles
- Move, stage and organize pallets and materials throughout the facility
- Prepare pallets for processing through a precleaning system
- Weigh pallets and materials using a floor scale
- Position pallets on a hopper for processing
- Move and consolidate industrial bulk bags and supersacks
- Inspect loads to confirm product accuracy and proper placement
- Use a tablet to update inventory quantities and product locations
- Follow company procedures, food-safety requirements and health and safety standards
- Assist with additional warehouse, inventory and material-handling duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- At least two years of recent counterbalance forklift operating experience
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, plant or inventory experience preferred
- Comfortable using a tablet for basic inventory updates
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy and proper product handling
- Able to work independently and follow established procedures
- Reliable availability Monday to Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb throughout the shift
- Able to lift and move up to 55 pounds and participate in heavier team lifts when required
