Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, taking their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including bartending responsibilities as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests.
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks if required, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
