We're looking for an experienced Grocery Manager to lead our Grocery Department and help drive operational excellence, sales growth, and team success.
What You'll Do
As Grocery Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy grocery department, including:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Grocery Supervisors and Clerks
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and department productivity
- Oversee ordering, inventory, merchandising, and stock rotation
- Maintain attractive, well-stocked displays and ensure exceptional store presentation
- Drive sales, gross margin, and labour performance
- Monitor inventory levels, invoice accuracy, and vendor credits
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies
- Work closely with the Store Manager and Grocery Specialist to achieve department goals
- Serve as a keyholder responsible for opening and/or closing the store as required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- An experienced grocery retail leader (Grocery Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor)
- Passionate about customer service and developing people
- Organized, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced with inventory management, ordering, merchandising, and labour scheduling
- Comfortable using POS systems, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Workspace
- Knowledgeable about natural, organic, and local products (an asset)
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to work in refrigerated areas and perform regular bending, reaching, and lifting

Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
