Hotel Front Desk & Sales Attendant
Position Summary
The Hotel Front Desk & Sales Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while maximizing hotel revenue through room sales, upselling, and promoting hotel services. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process reservations, check-ins, and check-outs accurately.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
- Promote room upgrades, hotel packages, and special offers.
- Assist with group bookings and corporate account inquiries.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor room availability and optimize occupancy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Support online review generation and guest satisfaction initiatives.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest readiness.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with hotel reservation systems and computers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
