We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at Kinetic Centre. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to our clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from stress or pain. As a Massage Therapist, you will utilize your knowledge of various massage techniques and medical terminology to deliver personalized treatments that cater to individual client needs.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage tailored to client preferences and health conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and discuss their needs and expectations prior to treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of each client's treatment plan, progress, and any relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming environment, addressing client inquiries, and fostering a positive experience throughout their visit.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols for equipment and work areas.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge through ongoing education in massage therapy techniques and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain treatment plans and address client concerns effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a relaxing atmosphere for clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not required.

Pay: $52.76-$57.19 per hour
