Compensation Range: $21.00 up to $24.91
Position Summary:
The incumbent will assist with a variety of tasks to support the production process. Responsibilities can include a variety of tasks such as grinding, buffing, painting, packing, loading and unloading and operating tools, equipment and machinery.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use of handheld tools such as grinders and wire wheels
- Use of handheld and functional gauges to ensure product quality when required
- Inspecting parts as per the final product verification (FPV) and work order instructions
- Packaging and allocating parts as per standard work instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area using the principles of 5S
- Adherence to the company’s policy and procedures
- Working in a fast-paced environment
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment in an asset
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Safety and quality conscious
- High attention to detail
- Experience in manufacturing environment is an asset
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instruction
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
