The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals in need. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to improving the lives of clients through effective case management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize immigration case files
- Great energy and a positive attitude as you will be dealing with our clients!
- Prepare, compile, and manage all necessary documentation for submission of immigration applications including LMIA, study permits, work permits, visitor visas, super visas, CEC, FSW, and PNP.
- Schedule meetings and update calendars
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, maintaining comprehensive records of case progress and client information
- Proofread all documents meticulously to ensure clarity, correctness, and compliance with legal standards
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and streamline workflow processes
- Answer phone calls, deal with new inquiries, direct calls to relevant staff
- Draft correspondence, file, photocopy and scan documents
- Requirements
- Prior experience in immigration case management, legal assistance, or a related human services field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Canadian immigration programs (e.g., Express Entry, PNPs, TRV, PR, Work/Study Permits).
- Proficiency in using immigration databases, IRCC portals, and document management systems.
- Strong proofreading abilities coupled with writing skills suitable for legal drafting and correspondence
- Administrative experience demonstrating competence in clerical tasks like filing, record keeping, and managing schedules
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
