Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing inquiries, guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, and maintaining positive relationships with current residents. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities. The Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth leasing experience while representing our community with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and answering questions effectively.
- Manage lease applications, verify applicant information, and facilitate the approval process.
- Maintain accurate data entry of tenant information into property management systems.
- Prepare and process lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation with attention to detail.
- Coordinate move-in/move-out inspections and ensure all paperwork is complete and organized through filing systems.
- Follow up with prospective tenants to convert inquiries into signed leases and maintain ongoing customer relationships.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data management, and maintaining tenant records.
- Uphold professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, prospects, and vendors.
- Collaborate with property management staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in office administration, property management, or leasing is preferred.
- Familiarity with Entrata or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Strong sales skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities.
- Effective negotiation skills to close lease agreements successfully.
- Proficiency in data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks..
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
