Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to create and maintain beautiful landscapes for our clients. The Landscape Technician will play a vital role in ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other green spaces are well-kept and thriving.
Duties
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform landscaping tasks.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including trimming, edging, and weeding.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure proper hydration.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while adhering to best practices for plant health.
- Maintain gardens by planting new flora, removing debris, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is beneficial.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Qualification
- Landscape Horticulture Diploma (Preferred)
