We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our small but growing team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and assist with sales in a retail environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse customers. The Budtender will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, managing POS transactions, and upselling products to enhance customer experience. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, an interest in Cannabis, and be available Weekends and Evenings until 9.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Educate customers on product effects, strains, dosages, and consumption methods to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales processing, and inventory management.
- Maintain knowledge of current product offerings, promotions, and merchandising standards.
- Manage inventory levels through proper filing and merchandising techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding sale and distribution of cannabis products with special adherence to making sure no cannabis is sold to minors and regular I.D inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with store cleanliness, organization, and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all customers.
Job Requirements
- Valid Selling It Right certificate required on first day of work.
- Proven experience in retail sales, experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid drivers license is preferred, exceptions can be made for the right person or situation.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising techniques preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities.
- Demonstrated professionalism, and a positive attitude in previous roles.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
