Taylor Moving & Storage, established in 1959, is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Van Foremen, Moving Helpers, and Packers.
Van Foreman/Driver
The Van Foreman/Driver position requires previous household goods moving experience. Starting wages will be based on experience, licence class, and qualifications.
Moving Helper
As a Moving Helper, you will work as part of a team loading, transporting, and unloading our clients' household goods. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the moving and transportation industry.
Packer
As a Packer, you will carefully wrap and pack our clients' household goods for transportation and storage. Following training and demonstrated success in the role, Packers may have opportunities to advance into our International Division, preparing customers' belongings for shipment worldwide.
Taylor Moving & Storage is more than a local moving company. Our crews regularly complete moves throughout Ontario and Quebec, as well as cross-border moves into and out of the United States.
These positions are considered entry-level opportunities within our organization. Helpers who demonstrate strong performance and commitment may be developed into Driver positions, with top candidates having the opportunity to obtain their AZ licence through company-sponsored training.
Qualifications
- No experience is required for the Helper or Packer positions.
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess a valid G or higher class driver's licence.
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel within Canada and the United States as required.
- A valid passport and the ability to legally enter the United States are considered strong assets.
- Employees assigned to cross-border work, must comply with all applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Testing Rules and Regulations, including participation in required testing programs for safety-sensitive positions.
- Successful candidates should be physically fit, reliable, customer-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
