The Role
We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to help maintain a private Vancouver residence to the highest standard. You will be working alongside an existing housekeeper as part of a two-person cleaning team, so being a reliable teammate matters as much as being great at the job itself.
This role starts as part-time with strong potential to grow into a full-time position for the right person.
You will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the property — cleaning, laundry, and general household organization — with a genuine eye for detail and a real sense of pride in a beautifully kept home.
Responsibilities
- Daily and deep cleaning of all interior areas to a five-star standard
- Laundry, ironing, and light wardrobe care
- Careful cleaning of hardwood floors, marble, stone counters, and other high-end surfaces
- Bed making and guest room preparation
- Kitchen cleaning and organization
- Restocking household supplies and flagging when items run low
- Assisting with setup and cleanup for occasional entertaining
- Reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the estate manager
- Working collaboratively with the other household housekeeper
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a private household, luxury hospitality, or high-end residential cleaning
- Exceptional attention to detail — you notice what others miss
- A team player who works well alongside other household staff
- Absolute discretion and professionalism at all times
- Reliable, punctual, and self-directed
- Physically able to perform the duties of the role
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- References from previous private household or luxury hospitality positions required
- Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement
