Join our dynamic team as an AZ Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operations! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring secure handling of all cargo
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Assist with troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Verify shipment accuracy
- Communicate effectively
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid AZ license or equivalent certification
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and shipping documentation processes
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 38.0 per week
