Job Description
As a Pizza Cook, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality pizzas that are consistent, beautifully presented, and served with pride.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing pizza dough, sauces and toppings to recipe specifications
- Stretching, topping and cooking pizzas to company standards
- Operating and maintaining pizza ovens safely and efficiently
- Preparing and stocking your station before each service
- Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation
- Following recipes and portion standards
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy services
- Maintaining a clean, organized and sanitary workstation
- Following all food safety, sanitation and health & safety procedures
- Assisting with prep and other kitchen duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen (pizza experience is a strong asset)
- Passion for great food and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Strong English communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching and repetitive movements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Required uniforms and PPE provided by Legendary Hospitality must be worn during shifts
