Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician / Sheet Metal specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as sheet metal components that support building infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure optimal climate control and system efficiency across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air handlers, condensers, furnaces, and ductwork
- Fabricate and install sheet metal components using welding techniques and schematics for custom ductwork and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Perform routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify issues before they escalate, ensuring system reliability
- Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage lines or water supply connections when necessary
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair appliances, boilers, or other building systems as needed
- Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and safety documentation for each project or maintenance task
Skills
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair procedures
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for system assembly and troubleshooting
- Mechanical knowledge of boilers, plumbing systems, welding techniques, and appliance repair
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and installation using construction best practices
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments effectively
- Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC work, welding practices, and construction environments
- Mechanic experience combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks ensures efficient problem-solving

Pay: $21.62-$47.25 per hour
