Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Kitchen Designer & Sales Consultant to join our renovation and design team.
This role combines kitchen design, client consultation, and sales. You will work with homeowners from the initial consultation through design, product selection, quotation, follow-up, and project coordination.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, comfortable working with clients, and motivated to achieve sales goals while providing an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist showroom clients and identify their renovation needs, style preferences, budget, and priorities
- Conduct client consultations and site visits when required
- Take and review accurate measurements for kitchen and cabinetry projects
- Create functional and visually appealing kitchen designs using SketchUp, AutoCAD, 2020 Design, AiHouse, or similar design software
- Prepare and present accurate quotations, proposals, designs, and product selections
- Assist clients with selecting cabinetry, door styles, finishes, countertops, hardware, backsplash, flooring, fixtures, and related renovation materials
- Explain product options, renovation processes, project requirements, and timelines
- Recommend appropriate products and upgrades based on the client's needs and budget
- Manage leads and client communication.
- Proactively follow up with leads, quotations, and existing clients to convert opportunities into sales
- Work toward monthly sales targets and contribute to overall team goals
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships from initial consultation through project completion
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, installers, and other team members to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized records of client selections, drawings, quotations, revisions, appliance specifications, and project information
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, kitchen design, cabinetry, interior design, renovation, or home improvement is preferred
- Education or training in Interior Design, Kitchen Design, Sales, or a related field is an asset but not mandatory
- Familiarity with 3D design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, 2020 Design, AiHouse, or similar programs is an asset
- Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, kitchen layouts, appliances, and residential renovation is an asset
- Ability to understand measurements, floor plans, and appliance specifications
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Confident using CRM systems, email, and digital communication tools
- Strong sales and customer relationship skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple clients and projects
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Goal-driven with a positive and professional attitude
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Availability to work weekends when required
