Summary
We're hiring an Interlock Foreman to lead our crews and set the standard on every job site. This is a leadership position for a seasoned tradesperson who knows the work inside and out and can bring out the best in a team. To ensure it's the right fit for both sides, the position begins with a three-week paid trial period, after which a permanent offer will be extended to the right candidate. Training will be provided during this period.
Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising a crew of interlock/landscape labourers on residential and/or commercial projects
- Overseeing all phases of installation — base prep, grading, drainage, laying, and finishing
- Reading site plans and ensuring work is completed to spec and on schedule
- Serving as the main point of contact between the crew, management, and clients on site
- Holding the team accountable to safety standards and best practices
- Maintaining high quality control throughout every stage of the project
- Problem-solving on the fly and keeping the job moving efficiently
- Setting a professional tone on site — leading by example in attitude and workmanship
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of hands-on interlock/hardscape installation experience
- Previous foreman, lead hand, or supervisory experience is a strong asset
- Deep knowledge of base preparation, compaction, drainage, and layout
- A natural leader who earns respect through skill and professionalism
- Strong communicator — clear with the crew, professional with clients
- Honest and dependable — someone who takes ownership and doesn't cut corners
- Valid driver's licence required; ability to operate a trailer an asset
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
