Concord Confections, the manufacturer of Dubble Bubble gum and other fine candy products has immediate openings for full-time Industrial Millwrights (433a).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and problems identified on the various production lines, including, mechanical systems, hydraulics and electrical components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs including cleaning and lubricating equipment, replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components and other routine maintenance work.
- Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
- The efficient and effective running of maintenance equipment.
- Submit maintenance requisitions for spare parts as required and keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Providing information to Supervisors and Co-workers including providing guidance and expert advice on technical systems and processes.
- Install or replace meters, regulators, or related measuring or control devices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and operational manuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use / operate hand tools, power tools and maintenance shop equipment.
