Duties
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s language proficiency, learning style, and goals
- Deliver interactive lessons that incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Use a variety of teaching tools and resources to keep lessons engaging and effective
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence-building
- Track student attendance, progress reports, and lesson outcomes accurately
- Communicate clearly with students and parents (where applicable) about learning objectives and achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English to diverse age groups and skill levels
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with high school students is highly desirable, demonstrating understanding of age-appropriate teaching methods
- Classroom experience or familiarity with educational settings enhances your effectiveness as a tutor
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that motivate students and promote active learning
