Overview
FCC Development Consulting is growing and is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team immediately.
FCC provides development consulting, interior design, procurement, fit-up coordination, and administrative services, primarily within the hospitality industry, while also serving commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
We are looking for a highly organized, self-directed professional who can successfully lead interior design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and design skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, procurement specialists, clients, and trade partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts that align with franchise, brand, ownership, and project-specific standards.
- Create functional and aesthetically appealing spaces while maintaining budget requirements and operational objectives.
- Prepare complete interior design packages, including:- Concept development- Space planning and functional programming- Finish and material selections- Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) specifications- Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) recommendations- Interior elevations, details, schedules, and specifications, Construction and tender documentation
- Coordinate with FCC's in-house purchasing team on finish, furniture, fixture, and equipment selections.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Participate in design meetings, site reviews, and construction coordination activities.
- Monitor design intent throughout project implementation to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design.
- Minimum 3–5 years of interior design experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality brand standards and franchise requirements is an asset.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects is beneficial.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction detailing.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
