Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. From recommending the perfect product to keeping the store running smoothly, you’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive team that loves what they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable and compliant customer service by engaging customers, offering tailored product recommendations, and ensuring all interactions meet regulatory and company standards
- Execute sales transactions accurately by operating the point-of-sale system, handling payments, and maintaining attention to detail in all transactions
- Maintain merchandising and store presentation by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains clean, attractive, and customer-ready
- Support inventory handling and stocking by assisting with receiving shipments, tracking stock levels, and contributing to overall inventory accuracy
- Follow loss prevention and compliance requirements by verifying customer age, adhering to all legal and company policies, and supporting a safe and secure retail environment
Qualifications & Essential Skills
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Prior retail or customer service experience; wine, beer, and spirit knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
- Capable of lifting up to 20kg (50lbs)
- Strong team player with an excellent work ethic and dedication
Experience
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Beverage alcohol experience is an asset.
Education
High school completion preferred.
