Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for distribution to various departments or clients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including washing stations, storage spaces, and surrounding work zones.
- Assist with basic cleaning duties around the store or facility to support overall hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry processing targets while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks diligently with attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward assisting colleagues.
