Experienced Renovation Lead Hand / Subcontractor
White Rock Renovations is hiring an experienced renovation lead hand / subcontractor tradesperson for residential renovation projects throughout White Rock, South Surrey, Langley, and surrounding areas.
We are ONLY interested in experienced renovation tradespeople with solid residential renovation experience.
Subcontractors are strongly preferred.
This is NOT an entry-level position and we are NOT looking for trainees or helpers.
Applicants must already have strong experience in:
- Bathroom renovations
- Drywall repairs and skim coating
- Painting and prep work
- Trim and finishing carpentry
- Basic plumbing and electrical work
- General carpentry
- Site protection and cleanup
- Working professionally inside occupied homes
Tile experience is considered a strong asset, but is not required.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to follow instructions properly the first time
- Must take pride in clean, professional-quality work
- Must have good personal hygiene and professionalism
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have ALL of your own hand tools and everyday working tools
Applicants are expected to arrive fully equipped and capable of performing day-to-day renovation work independently.
We will supply larger equipment such as major saws and ladders when required.
We are NOT looking for:
- People who need constant supervision
- People who exaggerate their experience
- People who cut corners
- People who cannot work cleanly in clients’ homes
- People without proper tools or transportation
Hours:
Approximately 28–40 hours per week.
Pay:
$40–$50 per hour depending on experience, skill level, reliability, and professionalism.
