Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all front-of-house areas, including dining spaces, counters, and service stations
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous; kitchen experience is a bonus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
