Northern Alberta Heating is a leading commercial HVAC fabrication and installation company known for high-quality workmanship and a safe, team-oriented work environment. Our projects are primarily located in Edmonton and surrounding areas, as well as several out of town locations. We are currently looking for experienced and driven 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year apprentices and journeymen for commercial field installation. Pay will be adjusted accordingly for the appropriate apprenticeship level. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT SHEET METAL APPRENTICE OR SHEET METAL JOURNEYMAN. NO EXCEPTIONS or OTHER TRADES.
Key Responsibilities:
- read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and sketches to ensure precise installation
- coordinate production and installation schedules, manage workflow and prioritize urgent projects
- oversee quality of finished products and installation to ensure conformity to specifications
- maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment and order supplies and materials as needed
- follow OH&S and COR safey rules and regulations and maintain a clean, safe and organized field worksite as applicable
- troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or repair
Required Qualifications:
- strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation and material usage
- proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- excellent communication, organizational and hand tool skills
- CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift and First Aid
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$42.00 per hour
