Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatbed Truck Driver and Owner Operator to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.
Daily work, Dedicated lanes, home every night, layover work available too, Parking available in Oakville and Etobicoke, competitive rates
Duties
- Safely operate truck for the transportation of freight and materials
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, receivers
- Ensure proper securing of freight to prevent damage during transit
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with clean driving record
- 3 years of experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Physical ability to Strap, Tarp and secure Freight
- Commitment to safety standards and adherence to company policies
- age 25 and up,
- Operate under Waveline Authorities and Insurance and use Waveline Flatbed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00-$5,500.00 per week
