We are seeking a skilled Residential Painter to join our team and contribute to high-quality painting projects for residential properties. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute painting projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment safely and effectively during preparation and application processes
- Perform restoration work on older or damaged surfaces to restore them to their original condition
- Manage project timelines efficiently through effective time management skills
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met and expectations are exceeded
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly
Skills
- Proven experience in residential painting, construction painting, or industrial painting
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and rigging techniques
- Strong understanding of carpentry skills relevant to surface preparation and minor repairs
- Ability to perform caulking and surface sealing for a smooth finish
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Demonstrated time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in both residential and commercial settings
