Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will efficiently assist in all aspects of dentistry ensuring:
- Maintenance of smooth and organized daily clinical workflow
- Clinical accountability
- Patient safety and comfort with the end goal of delivering compassionate patient experience
Please note that the dental clinic is currently temporarily closed and undergoing renovations following the successful change of ownership from SameDay Dental in Oakville. As a result, the exterior signage is still displayed as SameDay Dental. Duties
All established clinical protocols are strictly and consistently followed including
- Compliance to infection control and sterilization standards
- Daily enforcement of housekeeping rules
- Inventory and ordering of supplies
- Patient and office records
- Support administrative staff when needed (front desk)
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (Level II) with current licensure or certification
- Proven experience with dental assisting
- Proficiency in dental software such as AkituOne is a plus
- Experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Efficient in taking diagnostic x-rays
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
