Willow Spring Construction is looking for a full-time Construction First Aid Attendant/Construction worker to join our highly dedicated fast-paced energetic team in downtown Vancouver. Since establishment in 1987, we have specialized in retail, restaurant and office tenant improvement renovations, additions, and new construction. Job Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing safety and loss prevention programs in compliance with Federal and Provincial legislation
- Monitor safety performance of on-site workers to determine vulnerability
- Identify potential hazards and hazardous materials
- Perform accident investigations to gauge measures that need to be taken to prevent them the next time
- Develop and submit comprehensive safety policy and procedures
- Educate workers about the company’s safety policy and procedures and essential safety standards
- Inspect safety related complaints such as spills, incidents, etc.
- Conduct safety training and orientations
- Assist with On-site Labour and Carpentry duties
Requirements
- 1+ years construction industry in Health and Safety
- Minimum Level 1 First aid certificate
- Professional attitude and superior communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Labour and/or Carpentry experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
