Box Office & Administrative Coordinator

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours
For more than 75 years, the Memorial Centre has been welcoming audiences and bringing people together through arts, culture, and community events. Operated by the Central Alberta Theatre Society, we are a community-based, non-profit organization that hosts a wide variety of events, including tribute performances, community dance festivals, graduations, school productions, theatrical performances, and so much more.
We are a small, collaborative team that relies heavily on the dedication of our volunteers to support the many events held in our theatre. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, administration, and supporting people in a community-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary weekday contact for patrons by phone, email, and in person.
- Manage ticket sales, event setup, and reporting.
- Coordinate volunteer scheduling and communications.
- Provide administrative support to front-of-house and operations teams.
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation.
- Assist with event-day box office support when required.
- Help ensure volunteers, staff, and patrons have the information they need for successful events.
Technology & Systems
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with multiple software platforms, including:
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Ticketing systems (ShowPass experience is an asset)
- Volunteer management software (Better Impact experience is an asset)
- Cloud-based databases and communication tools

Qualifications
- Previous administrative, customer service, box office, or office experience preferred.
- Experience with SharePoint, ShowPass, Better Impact, or similar systems is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
