Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, and experience supporting diverse learners, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children's individual needs through personalized care and attention
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support children's progress and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents
- Encourage positive behavior and social skills through guidance and modeling
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities
- Adhere to all licensing regulations and safety protocols related to early childhood education
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices and developmental milestones
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs
- Certification or training in early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory
- Compassionate nature with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children
Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
