Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when necessary.
- Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Experience
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar supervisory role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
- A background in restaurant management is advantageous.
