We are a busy and growing animal hospital that also offers outstanding grooming services to our clients. We are looking for a compassionate, calm, professional and fun-loving pet groomer that takes pride in their work to add to our team.
Responsibilities and skills required:
- Groom various sizes, breeds and temperaments of pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur to maintain their overall appearance and hygiene
- Perform nail trims and ear cleanings as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the grooming services
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques, styles, and breed-specific cuts
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting of pets onto grooming tables or into tubs
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- ability to work independently as well as with a team
-cat grooming is an asset but not necessary
- maintain a clean work environment

This is a contract position covering a maternity leave with the potential for a permanent position following.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
