We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during repair procedures
- Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components following manufacturer specifications
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and when working with heavy machinery or equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to facilitate accurate repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repair status and recommendations
Experience
- Prior experience or mechanic experience is required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and schematics is a plus
- Experience with automotive repair or maintenance tasks demonstrates a strong foundation for this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles for extended periods
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills in automotive diagnostics and repair processes
