We are a family-owned design-build company with 22 plus years of experience in transforming garages into great functional, organized spaces! We specialize in garage floor coatings, custom/ name brand cabinets, overhead storage, wall storage, lighting, lifts, and much more. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to fill the position of “Sales & Design Representative” to support our sales and implementation team.
Requirements:
- Proven Sales and Design experience 2-5 years, preferably in home improvement, construction, or a related field.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills - ability to explain products and services clearly and persuasively.
- Customer Service Oriented - Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping clients.
- Basic Design Knowledge - Familiarity with architectural drawings, garage layouts and storage solutions is a plus
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented - Ability to work independently, with team and achieve sales targets.
- Valid Driver’s License - Willingness to travel locally for consultations and site visits.
- Tech-Savvy - Comfortable using CRM system, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and SketchUp or other design software.
- Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma or Degree is preferred
- Self-starter and a good team player
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience in developing schematics or any design program is preferred
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Assist walk-in customers and educate clients on garage organization solutions, conduct in-home or virtual consultations, and recommend products based on their needs.
- Follow up on inquiries, schedule appointments, and convert leads into sales.
- Stay up to date on our offerings, including garage floor coatings, cabinets, overhead storage, wall systems, lighting, and lifts.
- Prepare and present quotes, handle negotiations, and close sales.
- Work closely with the installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify industry trends, competitor offerings, and new opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with Customer Service Manager / Installation Coordinator on booking jobs and collecting Accounts Receivables on time and escalate troubled accounts to management.
- Work closely with logistical Team to ensure components and materials are available without down time.
- Work closely with Controller on special pricing, discounts and margins of jobs.
- Participate in trade shows on behalf of the company.
