Duties
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription labels and package medications for patient pickup
- Maintain organized records of medication inventories and patient files
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Verify prescription details for accuracy and completeness
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness within the pharmacy area
Skills
- Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy technician roles required
- Must have experience on KROLL
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
- Compassionate approach to patient care and confidentiality compliance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and data entry
