Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Perform general cleaning and site preparation tasks to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support skilled tradespeople with their daily tasks as needed
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Help with miscellaneous duties such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving supplies or debris
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on construction or work sites
- Good communication skills to understand tasks and collaborate effectively
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
