Design & Development LeadThe Design & Development Lead at Parsons Investments is responsible for the architectural planning and technical design of the company’s real estate assets. This role covers the full development spectrum, including neighborhood master planning, multi-residential and commercial land development, and detailed tenant fit-ups. The primary focus is creating code-compliant, energy-efficient designs that maximize the potential of raw land and existing buildings.Primary ResponsibilitiesLand Development & Planning
- Neighborhood & Master Planning: Create conceptual designs for new neighborhood developments, including street layouts, plot divisions, and community spaces.
- Multi-Residential & Commercial Concepts: Design site plans and building concepts for multi-family residential projects and commercial subdivisions.
- Land Feasibility: Produce site layout options for potential acquisitions to determine building density and land-use possibilities.
Tenant Fit-Ups & Renovations
- Tenant Space Planning: Design custom interior fit-ups for commercial tenants, creating detailed layouts that meet their specific operational needs and branding.
- Renovation Design: Develop plans for building renovations and modernizations, focusing on aesthetic updates and structural improvements.
- Floorplan Management: Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date floorplans for the entire building portfolio.
Technical Design & Compliance
- Code & Bylaw Navigation: Ensure all designs and site plans meet municipal zoning bylaws and applicable building codes for permit submission.
- Energy Efficiency Coordination: Suggest and integrate energy-efficient upgrades and sustainable materials into new builds and existing assets.
- Material Specifications: Select and standardize interior and exterior finishes to ensure durability and a consistent look across the portfolio.
Project Support
- Pre-Construction Coordination: Translate design concepts into technical drawings that the construction team can use for budgeting and execution.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to ensure that the construction or renovation is adhering to the original design intent and quality standards.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
